Guardians Institute is a nonprofit which represents the community outreach of Guardians of the Flame Mardi Gras Indian tribe. They often coordinate book distributions to youth and other events focused around literacy. The Big Chief Donald Harrison Neighborhood Activity Center for Children houses a dance studio, outdoor gathering space, and a large stage. Primary involvement with this project was creating metal handrails along the front and rear entrances, as well as finish carpentry. With Tulane City Center.
