This steel enclosure in Kenner, LA - built for Sri Veera Venkata Satyanarayana Temple's 2014 Lunar New Year festivities - doubles as securable storage and a ceremony area. 12' and 16' scissor gates (not pictured) fold away, opening up the space for ceremonial centerpieces, platforms, rugs, and chairs, while windscreens can be attached to the sides to keep candles alight. The shaded converted carport acts as a seating hall and is also used throughout the day as a breezy meeting spot surrounded by roses.
